Help Habitat for Hounds bring a humane officer to Cambria County!
Every day, animals in Cambria County suffer from abuse and neglect. Unfortunately, local law enforcement has limited resources to respond to every call, leaving little hope for the animals and few consequences for those who abuse them. In accordance with Pennsylvania law, Habitat for Hounds is currently raising funds to train and maintain a humane officer whose sole concern would be the enforcement of our state’s anti-cruelty laws.
By working closely with traditional law enforcement officers, humane officers have legal authority to obtain warrants, issue citations, and make arrests for violations of Pennsylvania’s animal abuse laws.
The need for a humane officer is clear, yet providing the necessary training and resources will be expensive. Without the support of community members like you, animals in our area will continue to suffer needlessly. If you would like to contribute to our cause and help protect animals, send your donation to:
Habitat for Hounds (Humane Officer Fund)

To organize a fundraising event of your own to help us reach our goal, please contact us at email@example.com.
Habitat for Hounds is a registered 501C-3 nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax deductible. Our members work to help animals on an entirely volunteer basis, and 100 percent of all donations is used directly to help animals.
